Tsawwassen
Kevin from Sk8itup
reports:
Newest
park out here is Tswwassen. Its near the ferry terminal
to Victoria. It was made by New LIne and its crazy good.
Its similiar to Vic West, except this one has no tranny.

Sult reports from the bunker:
"I
visited the Tswwassen skatepark on a recent trip, and I
enjoyed it a lot for a street park. It is laid out in sort
of a waterfall fashion from a top part, with ledges and
rails down banks, with some tabletops and rails in between.
Then there are larger banks with rails, ledges, a step up,
and a huge gap going down. In between the two flat areas
before the big banks is a copingless bowl congested by fly-out
kids. A higher bank going up comes up after the waterfall
setup and this bank is used to get speed for the step up,
carving the bank-bowl, and hitting ledges out of the banks.
the park lacks overall flow, but has a few okay lines, which
are usually congested with people since this is a new park.
My favorite obstacle was on the bottom part of a sloping
ledge. The vertical park was at steep angle good for wallrides
and getting into slappy-style grinds on the box. You can
also launch off the wallride into a mellower bank. The major
negative note is the scene. Every kid is fashioned in similar
semi-long hair and mesh hat and really tight pants and a
plaid shirt and is skating with pissdrunx style. This means
they're all doing the same thing and hitting rails and getting
in the way. Other than them are the plentiful small fly-out
kids. Thankfully bikers were at a minimum. I wouldnt
go out of my way to visit this park, but it is fun in the
morning with not too many people or during a long ferry
wait. "
